Welcome to my professional/personal webpage. My name is Gwendal Debaussart-Joniec, and I am currently a PhD student at the Centre Borelli, the mathematics laboratory of the École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, under the supervision of Argyris Kalogeratos. My main research interests are:
- Representation learningembedding data with random walks and diffusion processes, e.g. with intertwined diffusion trajectories for multi-view data
- Clusteringof directed graphs in particular, e.g. with parametrized power iteration or a generalized Dirichlet energy
I mostly work with directed data, such as digraphs and other asymmetric relations, and with multi-view data, where the same objects are described in several ways.
Recently, I have become really interested in applications of Finsler geometry to different problems, starting with embedding directed data. See my publications for more details.
I also organize, with Gaëtan Serré and Argyris Kalogeratos, the seminars of the LIPS (Learning and Information Processing Systems) team, formerly MLMDA. If you are interested in presenting in this seminar, do not hesitate to send me an email.
